About Plinth Mockups

Made in Australia ยท launched October 2026

In short: Plinth Mockups, or Plinth for short, puts your app or website design on photorealistic iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, displays and watches. It's free, there's nothing to sign up for, and your screenshots never leave your browser.

Plinth in 20 seconds.

Why it exists

Good device mockups usually come with a catch: a subscription, a Photoshop file to wrestle with, or uploading unreleased work to someone else's server. Plinth skips all three. Open the page, drop in a screenshot, pick a scene and export.

Who makes it

Plinth is a one-person project, designed and built by a designer in Australia. There's no team and no ads, and because your designs never reach a server, there's nothing about them to sell. Every message sent through the site goes straight to the person who builds it.

How it works

Each mockup is a photorealistic scene, or the device alone on a transparent background, with its screen mapped in advance. When you add a screenshot, your browser fits it to the screen, matches the scene's lighting and renders the result at up to 4000 px, all on your own device. You can check that yourself in about a minute, and the privacy policy has the details.

What's next

New devices and scenes are added based on what people ask for. Request a device, or vote for what others have asked for on the requests page.
